Two-factor authentication
An authenticator app plus recovery codes. Turn it on any time under your sign-in security, or require it for the whole company so setup pops up at the next sign-in. Sessions look after themselves: 30 idle minutes signs you out, and active work keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours.
Roles and an audit trail
Admin, accountant, sales and viewer roles, so people see only what their job needs. A last-admin guard keeps a company from locking itself out. Sign-ins and changes land in an audit trail with who, when and from where.
Encryption and hardening
Data is encrypted in transit, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. Password reset links are single-use and expire after 30 minutes. The scan-to-email address accepts mail only from registered, active users of the workspace.
Review without risk
Give an outside accountant a scoped, read-only, revocable link to one company. They see that company's summary and nothing else, and the link can be withdrawn at any time.
Every account approved by a person
New accounts confirm their email, then a person reviews and approves each signup before it goes live. Questions get a reply from someone who knows the product, not a ticket queue.
Questions about security
What happens if I lose my phone?
Use one of the recovery codes issued when two-factor authentication was set up, then enrol a new authenticator.
Can my accountant see all my companies?
Only the company you share, read-only, through a link you can revoke. A full team member gets a role instead, with permissions to match.
Can I take my data out?
Yes. GIFI export, Excel workbooks, IIF and CSV exports carry your books out at any time. You are never locked in.
