Job costing, holdback and WIP, built in
Cost by job, hold retainage on invoices and bills and release it when the contract allows, and see work in progress the way construction actually runs. No special industry edition, no extra module.
Full product, no feature tiers. Every new account is approved personally.
Every dollar tagged to a job
Invoices, bills and catalog items carry a job. Costs against the quote are visible as the work progresses, so you know a job is losing money before the final invoice, not after.
Holdback that releases on time
Retainage or holdback is held on invoices and on bills, tracked as a receivable or payable of its own, and released when the contract allows. The ledger shows it as holdback, not buried in receivables.
From estimate to progress billing
An e-signed estimate becomes invoices in stages, by percentage or by line. Change orders amend the contract with the customer's approval and keep the history, so the paper trail stays honest when the job evolves.
Work in progress
See what has been done but not yet billed, per job, alongside the costs already incurred. The same double-entry books underneath, so the balance sheet reflects it.
Questions from contractors
Is job costing an extra module?
No. Jobs, holdback, WIP and change orders are part of the standard product, included in the trial.
Can a subcontractor's bill carry holdback too?
Yes. Holdback is held on bills as well as invoices, and released when the contract allows.
How do change orders work?
A change order amends an accepted estimate with the customer's approval. The original stays on record, and the invoices follow the amended contract.
